The Cefn Club, formerly known as the Cefn Mawr Community Social Club (CMCSC) and affectionately called ‘The Legion’ by locals, is a beloved pub situated just off Cae Gwylliam Lane in Cefn Mawr. Although the name officially changed to The Cefn Club in 2010, the establishment’s unwavering support for local football teams has remained a constant over the years, benefiting teams on both Saturdays and Sundays.

Currently, the Cefn Club is a key sponsor of the Cefn Albion Football Club, with its generous contributions helping cover the costs of referee fees and pitch hire for both the first team and the reserves. They also provide post-match refreshments for both home and visiting teams, ensuring everyone feels welcome. They are the proud sponsor of the red and black away kit.

A cornerstone of the community, The Cefn Club is well-known for the wide range of activities it hosts. The club is home to darts, dominoes, and holds regular events across most nights throughout the week and weekend. Its spacious function room, capable of accommodating over 200 guests, is a popular venue for children’s parties, discos, christenings, and other celebrations.

The Cefn Club features a bar area, a lounge, and a large function room. Visitors can always expect a warm and friendly atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a few cold drinks and engage with the local community. Whether you're a long-time resident or a first-time visitor, a warm welcome awaits you from the regulars and bar staff alike.
