2022 Fancy Dress Bike Ride for Nightingale House Hospice

On Sunday 28th August 2022, people connected to Cefn Albion football club will participate in a fun-filled charity bike ride to raise money that will be used to raise money for Nightingale House Hospice in Wrexham and the Cefn Albion senior and youth teams. 

Nightingale House Hospice aim to provide services for individuals and their families living within North East Wales and the border areas who are living with a diagnosis of a progressive and/or life-limiting illness, delivered when possible in the location of their choice and always within the resources available to Nightingale House Hospice. In some way or another many of us would have been affected or know someone who has required palliative care so we really want to encourage everyone to make a big effort for this one, please.

With the sponsored bike ride not far away, we hope everyone getting involved has enough time to sort out their fancy-dress outfits, bikes and sponsorship. This year there is no theme set and you can choose any fancy-dress outfit you like. We understand that some people will be unable to participate this year, but this does not mean that you can’t gather some sponsorship that can be added to the final total, it will really help us raise as much money for this year's causes. The bike ride will take place on Sunday 28th august and start from Cefn Mawr Community Social Club at 12 o’clock. We will then proceed to the Queens hotel for light refreshment. From the Queens will continue our challenge towards the Telford. After a few more refreshments we will continue our long uphill journey towards the Duke of Wellington followed by the eagles, Oddfellows, Delph bar, Royston and The Hampden Arms. The last leg of our trip is a welcome descent to the Jolly masons and Hollybush we make the long trek to the Newbridge arms and then back to base at the Cefn Mawr Community Club.

As with previous years, if you see our riders we really hope that people dig deep and we make a significant amount of money towards this fantastic cause.
