Alder Hey and BHF to Benefit from Albion 2019 Xmas Jumper meetup

On Sunday the 22^nd of December players, management and supporters connected to Cefn Albion football club will be meeting for the annual Christmas get together. Following recent charity event successes, this year we will be using the opportunity to raise some more money for Charity. Our chosen Charities are once again Alder Hey and The British Heart Foundation!

Nick Jones, who works tirelessly for our club has organised a pool and darts knockout competition with all proceeds kindly being donated towards our chosen charities. The competitions will begin at 13:00 at our fantastic HQ, the Cefn Mawr Commuinity Social Club.  The format and rules are as follows:

• All players will be paired.
• All paired players will be drawn out.
• Pool matches will consist of a 1 frame shoot-out except the final which will be best of 3.
• All darts matches will be best of 3 including the final, legs will be 501 straight off double finish.
• Pool rules: any foul 2 shots, with the white ball placed behind the baulk line, any nominated pocket for the black.
• Entry fee for both events will be £5 per pair.
• Trophies will be presented to the winners.
• All entrants must wear the traditional Christmas jumper.
• Entrants must register for both events by 1.00pm.

During the afternoon we also be doing other fundraising such as football cards and raffles etc. which will all be contributed towards the final total. The response for previous years has been fantastic with well over 40 lads pulling on their Christmas Jumpers and getting involved so let’s have the same again this year

We are urging everyone and everyone to please donate raffle prizes if you can, anything is better than nothing! We are a tight knit community in Cefn Mawr and the togetherness of everyone at the football club is apparent, lets create more memories.
