Alder Hey and the Christie hospitals benefit from charity gig

Cefn Albion Football club are pleased to announce that the Marblehead Johnson a gig held at the Cefn Mawr Community Social Club on Friday June 7th, 2019 in aid of Alder Hey Children's Hospital and Charity Children’s and Manchester’s the The Christie Cancer treatment Hospitals raised a staggering £2,700.
The money was split in half and kindly donated to the two hospitals that are very close to the hearts of people that are connected to our football club and the community in general. Emyr Hughes and little Leo Minors (Lisa Minors) are just two local people that are leaning on the fantastic services that they offer.
Both hospitals provide world class specialist treatment and care and without the fantastic services that they provide things might have been different. To show our appreciation we want to give something back, so we are urging the community to respond and show up in your numbers (as you always do) to help us raise a good amount of money to donate to two worthy causes.
Amazing effort from everyone involved but special mention to the following for all their hard work, without their efforts the night wouldn’t have been as successful as it was!
If you would like to donate to the Leo Minors Alder Hey Children's Charity go fund me please head over to https://www.gofundme.com/f/leo-minors-for-alder-hey-children039s-charity?member=1932880 and read his story. Every little helps!
