Bangor City Away - Welsh Cup Travel Update

On Saturday 10th November 2018 Cefn Albion travel to the Bangor University Stadium to take on eight-time Welsh Cup winners Bangor City in the second round of the JD Welsh Cup. Since the tie was announced last Monday (22/10/18), there has been a big reaction within the village and many supporters have been requesting information about travel.

Our secretary Dean Morris and Haydn Evans have been working hard behind the scenes compiling lists and ringing around various coach companies to arrange travel. We can now confirm that a 52, 49 and 28-seater has been booked meaning, without any of the cars that will be heading up, there will be a minimum of 129 Cefners making the journey to support the team.

Cefn Albion football club would like to say a huge thank you to born and bred Cefner Stewart Roberts who after seeing the draw contacted us and give a very generous contribution to help cover the cost of the coach travel. A fantastic gesture from Stewart which epitomises the togetherness amongst the Cefn faithful! We thank him and hope to see Stewart at the game on the 10th.

Can we please urge all supporters who are on the lists to pay your money ASAP so that we can get everything organised in good time. We still have many people contacting the club asking to travel with us so have created a reserve list in case we need resolve any issues. All first team players travel free and for the remaining passengers on Bus 1 and 2 its £5 per person. All travelling on Bus 3 (28 seater), its £15 per person.

Finally, we really do appreciate our first-class support, for a club at our level it really is one of the best. However, can we please urge all those who do make the trip to enjoy the day and represent our club well. A big thank you #12THPERSON #SUPPORTTHEALBION
