Christmas Jumper Event 2023

Cefn Albion Football Club is delighted to extend a warm welcome to players, volunteers, and supporters for the much-anticipated annual Christmas Jumper Knockout event, set to take place at our fantatsic HQ, the 'Cefn Club' on Saturday, the 23rd of December, commencing at 1:00 pm.

Building on the success of previous charity events, this year's Christmas Jumper Knockout aims to raise funds for a local cause, with all proceeds dedicated to a fantastic initiative. The club is proud to contribute to the community by organising a day of spirited competition and camaraderie.

The festivities will include both darts and pool tournaments, promising a fun day for all to have. All participants will be paired and drawn out for their respective matches. Pool matches will consist of a one-frame shoot-out, except for the final, which will be the best of three. Similarly, the darts competition will feature one-leg matches, with the final contested as the best of three. Darts matches will adhere to a 501 double-off double-finish format.

Entrance to each event is priced at £5 per pair, with trophies awaiting the victors of both the pool and darts tournaments. To add to the festive spirit, participants are encouraged to don traditional Christmas jumpers, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere at the Cefn Club.

Registration for both events is mandatory and will close promptly at 1:00 pm on the event day. The club welcomes individuals or businesses willing to contribute by donating prizes for the raffle. Such generosity will be acknowledged and greatly appreciated.
