Christmas Jumper Quiz 2021

On Sunday the 19th of December players, management, and supporters connected to Cefn Albion football club will be meeting for the annual Christmas get-together. Following recent charity event successes, this year we will use the opportunity to raise some more money for a local cause (to be announced).

Given the current climate and the global pandemic still ongoing please ensure that you reserve your spot quickly to be part of what is usually a special day. Fortunately, with the CMCSC being able to accommodate a fairly large number of guests whilst maintaining and adhering to all social distancing guidelines still advised, it enables us to conduct this charity in a safe manner whilst raising money for a fantastic cause!

Usually, we do a darts and pool knockout but we felt that sticking to the Christmas Quiz will be much more appropriate again this year. Nick Jones, who works tirelessly for our club, has come up with a plan to safely conduct a 'Christmas' quiz which will see teams be broken into five. All proceeds will kindly be donated to our chosen local causes. 

We are still looking for more raffle prizes so that we can raise additional funds and donate them towards this year's causes, if you think that you can help then please do get in touch with the club, Haydn Evans, Dean Morris, Nick Jones or the Cefn Legion. Thanks in advance!

The competitions will begin at 13:00 at our fantastic HQ, the Cefn Mawr Community Social Club.  The format and rules are as follows:

• Teams will consist of no more than 5 players
• Entry will be £5 per player with all proceeds going to the chosen local cause
• There will be 10 rounds of questions consisting of 8 picture rounds a general knowledge round and an audio round
• The quiz will commence at 13:00 and any late arrivals will forfeit the round the quiz is currently at.
• All players taking part have to wear a Christmas jumper
• A trophy will be awarded to the winning team and in the event of a team being tied after the final round, the winners will be judged on the best looking captain (Christmas Jumper not appearance).
• A raffle will take place with various prizes to be won

Please come on down to the 'legion', have a fantastic time and make some money for a great cause. All players, staff and supporters are welcome.
