Cefn Albion Football Club has made the difficult decision to part ways with First Team Manager Neil Ashton, effective immediately. This decision follows a disappointing 4-1 defeat to Llanrhaeadr in the Ardal Northern East League earlier today, 11th November 2023.
In recent fixtures, the team's performances and results have fallen below our expectations, marked by some notable heavy defeats in both cup and league competitions. As an ambitious football club, Cefn Albion had anticipated significant progress from the previous season. Regrettably, that anticipated improvement has yet to materialise to our satisfaction.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Neil for his dedication and hard work during his brief tenure at Cefn Albion Football Club. We wish him all the best in his future coaching endeavours.
In light of the present situation, the club will commence the process of searching for a new First Team manager who can lead the team forward.
The Club will be issuing no further comment at this time.
