FA CUP Final Golden Goal 2020

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the golden goal competition that our hard-working fundraising team had planned was unfortunately placed on hold. However, with professional football now resumed we are delighted to confirm that the competition is BACK ON! Without advertising, the competition that we originally had planned is already FULL which is fantastic support yet again.

As a football club, we can’t thank everyone enough for getting behind our community club and supporting us, especially during the current climate and many uncertainties still very much looming. The continued support really means so much and helps the club to operate how we like it to.

The team is now in the process of collecting the money, with many already paying securely via the football clubs PayPal account (paypal.me/cefnalbionfc). If you have had a go, can we please urge you to send your money using the online method (pay family and friend) ASAP so that everything can be collected and verified. Please add your name as the reference e.g. Kevin Griffiths - Golden Goal. Alternatively, if you would like to pay cash then please get in touch with either Kev Griff, Tom Owens Jamie Foulkes or Wayne Hughes

 The chosen game is the much anticipated all London FA cup final between Chelsea and Arsenal. The fixture date is 1/8/20.

With regards to the rules, we are going to keep things in the exact same format with it being the minute of the LAST goal scored scooping the jackpot of £400 and £50 to the person who hits the bar and has the minutes either side of the golden minute. side of the last goal for 2 unlucky people who hit the bar. It’s much more exciting having the last goal scored because you won't know the winner until the referee blows the whistle. 

The rules are exactly the same

• 90 numbers (45 has first-half injury time) and 90 (has second-half injury time)
• The winning last goal timed in accordance with sky sports/sky bet
• £10 per number to enter
• Live Facebook draw to take place using the bingo machine in the CMCSC to randomly draw the numbers (to take place once all 90 numbers are full and paid-up)
• £400 cash for the lucky minute
• £50 cash for 2 runners up (either minute after the winning minute)
