Neco Williams donates signed, match worn champions league liverpool shirt

After hearing about our charity quiz on Sunday the 30th of May, we are delighted to announce that local Cefner Neco Williams has very kindly donated a signed, match worn Liverpool champions league shirt which we will auction to raise vital funds for our chosen charities.
The match worn shirt is from Liverpool’s Champions League First Group Phase 1-0 win against Ajax at Anfield, Neco impressively assisting Curtis Jones for the winning goal. Neco put in an excellent all-round performance in this shirt recording some impressive stats
- 80% passing
- 28/35 passes
- 1 assist
- 1/2 aerial duels
- 3/4 tackles (most for LFC)
- 2 clearances
- 1 interception
Since turning professional, Liverpool and Welsh International Neco has remained very grounded and close to his Cefn Mawr roots and whenever he can he always uses his platform to help the community in whatever way possible, it’s never any trouble for him. Such a down to earth young lad despite having the world at his feet!
On Sunday the 30th of May, players management, and supporters connected to Cefn Albion football club will be meeting for the annual socially distanced quiz hosted by Nick Jones. This year it was announced to use the opportunity to raise some more money for 5-year-old Sophia Morris who we all know was cleared of cancer back in August 2020, CLIC Sargent UK, Alder Hey, and Wrexham Maelor Children’s ward.
Neco is a cousin to young Sophia so it’s a very fitting donation, lets pull together and raise as much money as we can auctioning this amazing prize off. ALL money donated to the charities mentioned.
