Tier 2 Licensing Update 2023

With the possibility of promotion to Tier 2, Cefn Albion Football Club's committee has been diligently working to ensure that the club meets all the requirements outlined in the application. We successfully submitted our license application to the Football Association of Wales (FAW) prior to the deadline of April 30th, 2023, in anticipation of any outcome.

Today, we received notification from the FAW that our Tier 2 License application for the 2023/24 season has been declined due to a minor administrative issue. However, we are confident that this issue can be addressed on appeal, which our club is currently preparing for.

Our volunteers are dedicated to meeting all necessary criteria to ensure that Cefn Albion Football Club is represented at the level it deserves. In addition, we are actively working towards our long-term goal of returning to Cefn Mawr.
