Tier 3 License Confirmed 2023/24

We are delighted to announce that Cefn Albion Football Club has been awarded a FAW Tier 3 license for the upcoming 2023/24 season. This is a significant achievement for our club, and we are thrilled to be competing at this level, and possibly beyond.

While this positive news, we would also like to update our supporters on the status of our appeal for Tier 2 approval, which was declined due to a minor administrative issue. We have appealed this decision and are currently awaiting a response from the Football Association of Wales (FAW), which we expect to receive soon.

A victory over Dolgellau AA in our final game on Saturday guarantees us a runners-up spot, which will qualify us to compete in a playoff against the second-placed team in the Ardal Northern West division. While the promotion to T2 remains a possibility, our volunteers are dedicated to ensuring that Cefn Albion Football Club meets all the necessary requirements for Tier 2 approval. While we remain committed to achieving Tier 2 approval, we are also preparing for the upcoming season in Tier 3 should we be unsuccessful in the playoff.
