With no reserve team fixture, all focus this weekend is on our first team who travel to eight-time welsh cup winners Bangor City in the second round of the prestigious Welsh Cup. With things like media interviews, organisation of away coach travel and kits etc. to arrange, preparations have been in full swing in what has been a very busy week behind the scenes at the football club.
The lads took part in a very good training session last night under the lights at the Rock and from a player perspective they can now relax and look forward to the big game on Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere in the Albion camp and within the village has been fantastic all week, the people of Cefn Mawr are really getting involved and behind the football club with what should be a fantastic occasion.
Finally, from all those who have liked, commented or shared our social media posts to the TV crew that filmed the interviews at the rock, we want to thank everyone who has helped promote this second round tie, it has brought in some fantastic coverage towards our village football club.
For all those attending tomorrow’s cup tie, we hope you enjoy the occasion regardless of the outcome, we really thank you for your continued fantastic support. The team and football club really appreciate the effort you make on a weekly basis, it doesn’t go unnoticed!
