Katie Evans, affectionately known by her clients as “the fussy one,” is the heart and soul behind Blushh, a boutique hair studio launched in 2011. Based in Wrexham, Katie brings over 16 years of professional experience and an unmistakable passion for creating beautiful, healthy hair.

From a young age, Katie’s creativity was evident – transforming dolls with lipstick highlights and unique hairstyles. That early flair evolved into a respected career, beginning with training in one of the area's leading salons under the guidance of a highly disciplined Spanish mentor. This foundation instilled in her an appreciation for precision, craft, and the importance of using only the best tools and techniques.

After years of honing her skills in top salons, Katie took the bold step to go solo as a single mum – and Blushh was born. Today, she is known for her dedication to hair health, advanced colour work (especially blondes), and solutions for hair loss, including expert hair extensions and volumising treatments. Her training includes Wella colour houses, trichology, and Balmain hair systems, allowing her to offer a comprehensive and compassionate service to every client.

Katie pours love and energy into her work, always striving to help others look and feel their absolute best. For her, hairdressing isn’t just a job – it’s a lifelong calling, fuelled by creativity, kindness, and the belief that confidence starts with great hair.
