Another frustrating night for our first team in what was their first ever league game at the Rock.

We started brightly and were taking the game to the visitors, once again some good opportunities went begging and we were passing the ball much better than our opponents. However, with their first real attack and some poor defending we gifted the visitors a goal to make it 1-0. However, the Albion responded well and were soon back on level terms when Alex Williams headed home. As the half went on we were trying to play football and if truth be told we were on top but a mistake was punished yet again by Brickfield to make it 1-2. The next goal was quickly followed up with a fantastic header from a tight angle but the Cefn defence will probably be kicking themselves having conceded. The lads searched for a way back in and had plenty of chances to get at least a goal back but they were not taken. Brickie were growing into the game and with mistakes already punished Albion looked a little nervy but they continued to try and ask questions. Brickie completed a clinical half when a high line was punished to make it 1-4. There wasn't even enough time to take the kick off, a sucker blow right on the half.

Second half and a change in formation the Albion looked more comfortable at the back and as expected took the game to the visitors. The Albion were in full control but more chances went begging. The visitors always looked dangerous on the break however. As the game wore on more risks were being taken by the team but a Jimmy Jones goal deservedly restored some hope. Shortly after tho Brickie put the result beyond any doubt when more poor defending was punished to make it 2-5. Within minutes of conceding Alex Williams scored his second of the game to make it 3-5.

Another frustrating night for the lads which witnessed a mixture of more missed chances and poor defending. We now nice on to Friday night when we travel to Lex Glyndwr, another tough game.

We would like to thank tonight's support, as always first class!!
