Cefn Albion 4-5 Upton AA
Plenty of positives for our first team to take from their opening preseason friendly in warm conditions at the rock.
Our preseason kicked of this Saturday and it was our first ever game at the rock. West Cheshire League one outfit Upton AA were the visitors and they provided a very stern test to an Albion side that was missing one or two familiar faces and our two new signings.
At one stage we had a sixteen year old and two seventeen year old's on the pitch which signifies what we are trying to do. It was promising fitness levels displayed as our opponents began to tire, we were unfortunate not to get the equaliser.
The visitors ended up winning 5-4 but plenty of positives for our first team to take from their opening preseason friendly in warm conditions at the rock. Oli Davies, Alex Twinny Williams x2 and 17 year old Kien Morris with the Cefn Albion goals.
Well done to everyone involved we go again Tuesday at 18:30 on Ty Mawr.
